A slow two-dimensional stationary coating flow in a strip is analysed. If one strip boundary is moving with a constant speed and the other boundary is a perturbation of uniform flow, the existence, uniqueness and regularity of the free boundary is demonstrated. The corresponding problem for Navier-Stokes equations is also considered.
