On branching phases in perfect crystals (Q1905529)

(From the author's introduction.) The present work is an extension of the study of phase transitions in single crystals using an internal variable theory [\textit{G. P. Parry}, Mech. Res. Commun. 8, No. 6, 341-348 (1981; Zbl 0475.73001)]. The question investigated here is the modelling of a phase transition in an unstressed centered tetragonal monoatomic single crystal. The spirit of the paper is closely to the classical theory of Landau.
