The notion of multivariate resultants was introduced by \textit{F. S. Macaulay} in 1902 [Proc. Lond. Math. Soc. 35, 3--27 (1903; JFM 34.0195.01)], after earlier work due to Euler, Sylvester and Cayley. Later on, the concept of multivariate subresultants was defined by \textit{L. González-Vega} [Extr. Math. 5, No. 3, 150--152 (1990; Zbl 0759.13011); J. Pure Appl. Algebra 76, No. 1, 57--80 (1991; Zbl 0743.13016)] by generalizing Habicht's method. Subsequently, the authors and \textit{H. Hong} [J. Symb. Comput. 42, No. 3, 290--297 (2007; Zbl 1211.13021); J. Symb. Comput. 44, No. 9, 1164--1175 (2009; Zbl 1217.13013)] presented Poisson-like formulas for multivariate subresultants. In this paper, the authors extend this work for subresultants in roots to the case of polynomials with multiple roots in both the univariate and multivariate cases.
