The author constructs a non-equivariant motivic unoriented cobordism spectrum \(\mathrm{MGLO}\) and an oriented version \(\mathrm{MSLO}\). The spectrum \(\mathrm{MGLO}\) can be interpreted as geometric fixed points of the equivariant motivic spectrum \(\mathrm{MGLR}\) introduced by \textit{P. Hu} et al. [Adv. Math. 228:1, 434--480 (2011; Zbl 1247.14020)]. Over a field of characteristic zero, the unoriented \(\mathrm{MGLO}\) is defined as a motivic Thom spectrum of classifying spaces of even-dimensional motivic orthogonal groups (Definition 2.19). Its coefficients are computed for cohomology (Theorem 3.1) and for homology (Corollary 3.3) in terms of generators. Furthermore, it is shown that \(\mathrm{MGLO}\) is equivalent to \(\mathrm{MGLO}/(2,\eta)\) and subsequently, by using Bachmann's motivic Hurewicz theorem [\textit{T. Bachmann}, Duke Math. J. 167:8, 1525--1571 (2008; Zbl 1390.14064)], that \(\mathrm{MGLO}\) is equivalent to a wedge of shifts of \(\mathrm{H}\mathbb{Z}/2\) (Theorem 3.11). Afterwards, the homotopy groups of \(\mathrm{MGLO}\) are computed (Theorem 3.12); their generators correspond (up to Tate twists) to generators of the topologoical unoriented cobordism spectrum \(\mathrm{MO}\). Over a field of characteristic zero containing all \(p\)-rh roots of unity, and for which all its elements are \(p\)-th powers (for a prime number \(p\)), a motivic oriented cobordism spectrum \(\mathrm{MSLO}\) is studied (Definition 4.3). For odd \(p\), the cohomology of \(\mathrm{MSLO}\) is computed mod \(p\) (Theorem 4.8) and its homotopy groups are computed after \(p\)-completion (Theorem 4.12). Over the complex numbers, there is a more explicit description of its cohomology (Theorem 4.23), its homology (Corollary 4.24), and its homotopy groups (Theorem 4.25). In the last section, the spectrum \(\mathrm{MGLO}\) is shown to be equivalent to geometric fixed points of Hu-Kriz-Ormsby's spectrum \(\mathrm{MGLR}\) (Theorem 6.1) which implies that \(\mathrm{MGLO}\) is a motivic \(\mathrm{E}_\infty\)-ring spectrum (Corollary 6.2). Finally, the homotopy groups of a localisation of \(\mathrm{MGLR}\) are computed (Theorem 6.6).
