In this article, the authors study surfaces whose mean curvature vector is parallel in the normal bundle (pmc surfaces) in simply connected Sasakian space forms \(N^{2n+1}(c)\) with constant \(\varphi\)-sectional curvature \(c\). If the pmc surface is non-minimal and \(c \neq 1\) then either the surface is integral pseudo-umbilical and \(n \geq 3\) or the surface is not pseudo-umbilical and lies in a Sasakian space form \(N^{11}(c)\). They also study anti-invariant pmc surfaces in \(N^{2n+1}(c)\) with \(c \neq 1\) and mean curvature vector \(\overset\rightarrow H \neq 0\) and classify all integral complete non-minimal pmc surfaces with non-negative Gaussian curvature when \(n = 3\) (dimension 7). The Hopf cylinders are characterized as well. Finally they demonstrate a non-existence theorem: There does not exist anti-invariant complete non-minimal non-pseudo-umbilical pmc surfaces with non-negative Gaussian curvature in a Sasakian space form with \(c \neq 1\).
