Generalized essential norm of weighted composition operators on some uniform algebras of analytic functions (Q2380357)

Let \(E\) be a Banach space and \(B\) its unit ball. Given an analytic bounded function \(u\) on \(B\) and an analytic self-map \(\varphi\) of \(B\), the following weighted composition operator is introduced: \[ T_{u,\varphi}(f)= u \cdot f \circ \varphi. \] The author computes the essential norm of weighted composition operators relatively to the class of Dunford-Pettis operators or weakly compact operators on some uniform algebras. These algebras include \(H^{\infty}\), the disk algebra, and also the polydisk and polyball algebras. The paper continues research started in [\textit{R. Aron, P. Galindo} and \textit{M.
