The usual approach to the Jacobson type radicals for right near-rings is via left representations and left quasi-regularity. In this paper the authors define and develop the theory of right quasi-regularity, right modules and right \(0\)-primitivity leading to the right Jacobson radical of type-\(0\), \(J_0^r(R)\), for a right near-ring \(R\). This approach to the right Jacobson radicals for right near-rings is different from that of \textit{J. F. T. Hartney, D. S. Rusznyak} [Nearrings and nearfields. Proc. conf. nearrings and nearfields, Hamburg, Germany, 2003. Dordrecht: Springer. 225-234 (2005; Zbl 1078.16057) and Quaest. Math. 29, No. 3, 285-298 (2006; Zbl 1134.16020)]. It is shown that \(J_0^r\) is a (Hoehnke) radical map and that the nilradical \(\mathcal N(R)\) of \(R\) is contained in \(J_0^r(R)\). If \(R\) is a \(0\)-symmetric near-ring with DCC on left \(R\)-subgroups, then \( J_0(R)\subseteq J_0^r(R)\). Many examples are given to illustrate the theory.
