The authors present a fragmentation process associated with continuous random trees (CRT) with general critical or sub-critical branching mechanism, which were introduced by \textit{J.-F. LeGall} and \textit{Y. LeJan} [Ann. Probab., 26, 213--252 (1998; Zbl 0948.60071)] and developed by \textit{T. Duquesne} and \textit{J.-F. Le Gall} [``Random trees, Lévy processes and spatial branching processes.'' Astérisque 281. Paris: SMF (2002; Zbl 1037.60074)]. This extends previous work from \textit{G. Miermont} [Probab. Theory Relat. Fields 131, No. 3, 341--375 (2005; Zbl 1071.60065)] on stable CRT. The authors consider the height process of a Lévy process with no negative jumps and use Lévy snake tools developed by above-mentioned authors. They also give a special Markov property for the snake.
