Calculations are presented with respect to formal group laws and genera related to the universal Buchstaber formal group law \(\mathcal{F}_{\text{B}}\). It has been shown in the previous works of the author [Russ. Math. Surv. 68, No. 3, 571--573 (2013); translation from Usp. Mat. Nauk 68, No. 3, 189--190 (2013; Zbl 1282.55009); J. Homotopy Relat. Struct. 9, No. 1, 85--93 (2014; Zbl 1309.55002)] that the universal formal group laws \(\mathcal{F}_{\text{Kr}}\) and \(\mathcal{F}_{\text{N}}\) due to Krichever and Nadiradze coincide with \(\mathcal{F}_{\text{B}}\) and their coefficient rings are isomorphic to the quotient of the Lazard ring by the ideal generated by all \(A_{i,j}\) with \(i, j \geq 3\), where \(A_{i, j}\) are the coefficients of the series \(A(x, y)=\Sigma A_{i,j}=F(x, y)(x\omega(y)-y\omega(x))\), \(F\) denoting \(\mathcal{F}_{\text{B}}\) and \(\omega\) being the invariant form on it. In this paper first the low degree defining relations for this ideal are presented. In addition, in connection with this the Abel formal group law \(\mathcal{F}_{\text{Ab}}\) and the \(\mathcal{F}_{\text{Kr}}\) above are computed and then each of these formal group laws is observed as a particular case of \(\mathcal{F}_{\text{B}}\) and \(\mathcal{F}_{\text{KH}}\) due to Krichever-Höhn, respectively. Besides the formal group law of the Brown-Peterson cohomology is discussed and by applying the result obtained to the \(G(s)\)-theory the coefficient of its associated formal group law \(F_{G(s)}\) is computed.
