Meanders in orthoposets and QMV algebras (English)
0 references
The notion of a meander of an ideal in lattices, introduced by \textit{L. Beran} [Collect. Math. 46, 11-20 (1995; Zbl 0842.06005)], is generalized to orthoposets and to QMV-algebras. Using this notion, the authors give characterizations of Riesz ideals in orthoposets, orthoposets fulfilling the condition \(a \land b \Rightarrow a \perp b\), perspectivity closed ideals in QMV-algebras, and QMV-algebras in which every ideal is closed under perspectivity.
