The authors consider the fractional differential inclusion \[ \phantom{}^{C}D^{\alpha}x(t)\in\lambda F\big(t,x(t)\big)\text{, }t\in[0,1] \] subject to the boundary conditions \[ x(0)+x'(0)=0 \] and \[ x(1)+x'(1)=0. \] Existence of at least one solution to this problem is considered. To obtain their results, the authors impose the condition that \(F\) is an \(L^1\)-Carathéodory multivalued map with convex values. In addition, they suppose the existence of a continuous, nondecreasing function \(\psi : [0,+\infty)\rightarrow(0,+\infty)\) and a function \(m\in L^{\infty}(\mathbb{R})\) satisfying \(\| m\|_{L^{\infty}}>0\) such that \(\sup\big\{|v| : v\in F(t,x)\big\}\leq m(t)\psi\big(|x|\big)\) for each \((t,x)\in[0,1]\times\mathbb{R}\). The paper is nicely written and includes an illustrative example. All in all, researchers interested in the application of continuous fractional calculus to differential inclusions should find this of interest.
