Let \(F\) be a number field, \(v\) a nonarchimedean place of \(F\) with residue characteristic \(p.\) Let \({\Gamma}_{F}\) be the absolute Galois group of \(F.\) For a motive \(M\) consider the canonical system of \(\ell\)-adic Galois representations: \({\rho}_{M,\ell}: {\Gamma}_{F} \rightarrow G_{M}({\mathbb Q}_{\ell}).\) \(G_{M}\) denotes here the motivic Galois group of \(M.\) The author proves, for certain class of motives, the following statements: 1) if \(M\) has a good reduction at \(v\), then for \(\ell\neq p\) the conjugacy class of the image of an arithmetic Frobenius \({\rho}_{M,\ell} ({\Phi}_{v})\) is rational over \({\mathbb Q}\) and independent of \(\ell\); 2) if \(M\) has semistable reduction at \(v\) then for \(\ell\neq p\) the system of representations of the Weil-Deligne group associated with \({\rho}_{M,\ell}\) is a compatible system of representations.
