The authors correctly point out that bisectors and Voronoi cells are important tools in the theory of ball packings and ball coverings, and that they have to be suitably generalized when one studies analogous problems for convex bodies. If these bodies are centrally symmetric, these problems extend the discussed topics naturally to (normed or) Minkowski spaces. For the purpose to study lattice packings and lattice coverings of centrally symmetric convex bodies, the authors investigate properties of Minkowskian bisectors and cells, created by a Minkowski metric. The authors then particularly study the density of the thinnest lattice covering by \(n\)-dimensional centrally symmetric convex bodies. Interesting geometric properties of Minkowskian bisectors and cells are presented, and two interesting open problems are posed at the end of the paper.
