In this note the following result concerning the zeros of polynomials is proved: Theorem 1: If \(P(z)=a_0 +a_1z+ \cdots+ a_nz^n\), \(a_k\neq 0\), \(k=0,\dots,n\), is a nonconstant complex polynomial, then all its zeros lie in the annulus \(\{z\in\mathbb{C}: r_1\leq|z|\leq r_2\}\), where \[ r_1={3\over 2} \min_{1\leq k\leq n}\left\{{2^nF_kC(n,k)\over F_{4n}} \left|{a_0\over a_k}\right |\right\}^{1/k}, \] \[ r_2={2\over 3}\max_{1\leq k\leq n}\left \{ {F_{4n} \over 2^nF_kC(n,k)}\left |{a_{n-k}\over a_n}\right |\right\}^{1/k}, \] and \(F_k\) are the Fibonacci number, \(C(n,k)= {n\choose k}\) are the Newton binomial coefficients.
