This work is concerned with the study of the motion of a charged particle on a Riemannian surface when under the influence of a positive magnetic field. Use is made of Moser's twist theorem, in conjunction with classical perturbation theory, to determine sufficient conditions for the perpetual trapping of the motion of a particle with a sufficiently large charge in some neighborhood of a level set of the magnetic field. Symplectic reduction is used to apply the work to certain \(S^1\)-invariant magnetic fields in \(\mathbb{R}^3\).
