The author discusses the functional-differential equation with phase space \(B\) given by \(x'(t)=f(t, x_t)\), where \(B=(C((-\infty, 0], \mathbb{R}^n),\|\cdot\|)\) is a Banach space with the sup norm, \(f: \mathbb{R}\times B\rightarrow \mathbb{R}^n\) is continuous and locally Lipschitz. By using Lyapunov methods, conditions ensuring boundedness, dissipativity and precompactness properties for solutions to the above equation in a (uniform) fading memory space are given.
