Symmetry of solutions to semilinear PDEs on Riemannian domains (Q6115424)

The paper is concerned with symmetry properties for solutions to the Dirichlet problem for semilinear PDEs on Riemannian domains. The authors introduce a general framework where the symmetry issue can be formulated, and they provide some evidence that this framework is completely natural by pointing out some results for stable solutions. The case of manifolds with density, and corresponding weighted Laplacians, is inserted in the framework from the very beginning.
