Special relativity with the sharp velocity bound \(c\) and quantum mechanics with the uncertainty relation do contradict each other if taken literally: a particle moving with velocity \(v\) very close to the light velocity \(c\) has due to its uncertainty between location and momentum a non-vanishing probability to possess moments where for a very short time \( v > c\). This well-known paradoxon can be softened, but not completely resolved, by many different methods. One of them is described by the present paper: the author calculates in details, how much time does a wave-packet spend in a potential barrier, and then interprets this with faster-than-light motion experiments. Thereby he applies both the Schrödinger equation from quantum mechanics and the Einstein energy relation. A comparison with other papers to this topics is given, too.
