Let \(G\) be a finite group. For \(g \in G\), let \(g^{G}=\{g^{x} \mid x \in G \}\) be the conjugacy class of \(g\) in \(G\). Let \(\mathcal{P}\) be a group-theoretic property and let \(\Gamma_{\mathcal{P}}=(V,E_{\mathcal{P}})\) be the graph having as set of vertices \(V\) the conjugate classes of \(G\) and \(g^{G} \not = h^{G}\) are connected by an edge if and only if there exist \(x\in g^{G}\) and \(y \in h^{G}\) such that \(\langle x, y \rangle \in \mathcal{P}\). The graph \(\Gamma_{\mathcal{P}}\) is called the \(\mathcal{P}\mathrm{CC}\)-graph of \(G\).\N\NIn this survey article, the authors consider \(\mathcal{P}\mathrm{CC}\)-graphs in particular when \(\mathcal{P}\) is one of the following classes: abelian, nilpotent, soluble. After a section of introductory results and examples, they discuss all the available results on connectedness, graph realization, genus, various spectra and energies of certain induced subgraphs of these graphs (proofs of the results are not included). However, many open problems for further investigation are stated.
