All rings in the paper under review are commutative rings with identity. A ring is a UMP-ring if every maximal ideal in the ring is the union of the minimal prime ideals it contains. Banerjee, Ghosh and Henriksen [\textit{B. Banerjee} et al., Algebra Univers. 62, No. 2--3, 239--246 (2009; Zbl 1200.54009)] have characterized Tychonoff spaces \(X\) for which \(C(X)\) is a UMP-ring. In the article under review the authors characterize the frames \(L\) for which every maximal ideal of \(\mathcal{R}L\) is the union of minimal ideals it contains. This characterization extend the result of Banerjee, Ghosh and Henriksen.
