The paper considers a prey-predator system of the form (after reduction of the number of parameters) \[ dx_ 1/dt=x^ 2_ 1(1-x_ 1)-x_ 1x_ 2,\quad dx_ 2/dt=k(x_ 1-m)x_ 2, \] (k,m\(>0)\), where \(x_ 1\) and \(x_ 2\) are the prey and predator densities, resp. This system admits peculiar dynamics of prey natural growth and also a refuge for the prey. Analysing the coexistence equilibrium (m,m(1-m)) (with \(0\leq m\leq 1)\), it is shown that the Hopf bifurcation at \(m=1/2\) (from instability to stability) is shifted when noise is added to the system (which becomes a vector stochastic differential equation).
