Almost continuity and connectivity - sometimes it's as easy to prove a stronger result (Q790261)

Several examples are given to show that it is often easier to prove results about connectivity functions (\(f| C\) is a connected set whenever C is connected) by proving the analogous stronger result about almost continuous functions (whenever D is an open set containing f then there is a continuous function g having the same domain contained in D).
