A uninorm is a binary operation \(U\) on \([0,1] \) which is associative, commutative, increasing in each place and such that there exists an element \(e\) in [0,1] which satisfies \(U(e,x) = x\), for all \(x\) in [0,1]. Thus, when \( e=0\), \(U\) is a t-conorm, and when \(e=1\), \(U\) is a t-norm. The authors study many functional equations related to distributivity properties using the implication functions based upon uninorms \(I(x,y)=\) \(\sup \{ z \in [0,1]: U (x,z) \leq y \}\). The results are clearly presented and may be of interest for modeling aspects in fuzzy logic.
