The work is devoted to the domain decomposition method for scalar conservation laws with discontinuous flux function. The associated conservation laws for each domain have a continuous flux function. These conservation laws are solved by a nonoscillatory relaxation scheme. Special coupling conditions are developed at the subdomain interfaces (they are based on the direction of travelling waves). Numerical experiments are presented (traffic flows, two-phase flows).
