The scope of this note is to prove an analogue for convex polygons of a conjecture from [\textit{J. A. Barker} and \textit{D. G. Larman}, Discrete Math. 241, No. 1--3, 79--96 (2001; Zbl 0999.52002)]. More precisely it is shown that two convex polygons in the hyperbolic plane \(\mathbb{H}^2\) that contain a given disk of positive radius in their interiors coincide if the lengths of their intersections with every geodesic from \(\mathbb{H}^2\) that is tangent to the boundary of the mentioned disk are equal. Hints towards other possible variations of the mentioned conjecture are given, too.
