The paper deals with the Harnack inequality for weighted degenerate parabolic equations. More precisely, the author studies the \(p\)-Laplacian type operator with a weight, belong to the suitable Muckenhoupt class, in the spatial part. The arguments of the proof use the new approach developed by DiBenedetto, Giananzza and Vespri in some recent papers.
