Review text

The stability of the Euler obstruction of families of functions with isolated singularities on the germ of a weighted homogeneous hypersurface with isolated singularities and on holonomic free divisors is studied. The Euler obstruction was introduced by \textit{R. D. MacPherson} [Ann. Math. (2) 100, 423--432 (1974; Zbl 0311.14001)]. For an overview, see [\textit{J. P.
