State extended uncertainty relations
From MaRDI portal
Abstract: A scheme for construction of uncertainty relations (UR) for n observables and m states is presented. Several lowest order UR are displayed and briefly discussed. For two states |psi> and |phi> and canonical observables the (entangled) extension of Heisenberg UR reads [Delta p(psi)]^2[Delta q(phi)]^2 + [Delta p(phi)]^2[Delta q(psi)]^2 geq 1/2. Some possible applications of the new inequalities are noted.
