Strain-induced anisotropy in problems of stability for thin-walled elastoplastic constructions
From MaRDI portal
The authors discuss the effect of initial plastic strains on the critical load using the example of a closed spherical shell under uniform external pressure. The solution of the corresponding stability problem is obtained by the classical Timoshenko method.
