Strong model matching for singular systems by dynamic compensator

From MaRDI portal

In the paper the authors discuss the problem of designing a compensating control law for the following special, nonlinear, singular system: NEWLINE\[NEWLINE\begin{matrix} \dot{x}=f_1(x)+p_1(x)z+g_1(x)u, \\ 0=f_2(x)+p_2(x)z+g_2(x)u, \\ y=h(x), \end{matrix}NEWLINE\]NEWLINE where \(x\) is the state, \(z\) is the limited input, \(u\) is the control input, and \(y\) is the output. They design a dynamic compensation for the above system such that the response of the closed-loop system results in strong model matching, of which a definition is given in the paper. A necessary and sufficient condition for the solvability of the strong model matching for the above system is presented on the basis of a generalized structure algorithm. Moreover, an example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the algorithm.
