Strongly convex sets with variable radii

From MaRDI portal

The class of \(\rho(\cdot)\)-strongly convex sets in general Hilbert spaces is introduced, characterized, and investigated thoroughly. Among their revealed properties of these sets, one finds, for instance, results involving the farthest distance function and the farthest points. Some examples illustrate the findings.
