Support points for closed convex sets
From MaRDI portal
The authors of this very short paper consider a closed convex subset \(C\) of Hilbert space \(H\) with the nearest point-map of \(C\). The main result is that if \(K\) is any compact set containing \(C\) in its interior and \(int\) \(C\) is nonempty, then \(p(K)\) is the set of support points of \(C\).
