Synchronization in a class of chaotic systems
This paper investigates the synchronization of a master-slave system of autonomous chaotic ordinary differential equations with piecewise linear nonlinearities. The equations are linearly coupled, and synchronization is achieved by introducing a coupling term proportional to the state difference. The coupling parameters are determined via the formal solution of the differential equation governing this difference. The authors indicate that the proposed approach may be applicable to a broad class of piecewise linear chaotic systems, and to systems whose vector field can be approximated by such functions.\N\NSome numerical simulations illustrate the theoretical findings.
