Tensor eigenvalues and their applications

From MaRDI portal

In the majority of cases, the word ``tensor is used to denote multidimensional arrays and tensor physical quantities. In this book, tensors are treated as hypermatrices, namely higher-order generalizations of matrices. The book is a good reference for knowing old and new problems related to the eigenvalue analysis of tensors. Both theoretical results and applications are carefully presented. This meticulous work is based on an extensive bibliography, containing 319 titles, and provides an excellent monograph for graduate students, applied mathematicians and scientists interested in tensor analysis.
