The double gamma function with applications
The double gamma function, which was defined by Barnes and others in about 1900, has been revived in the study of determinants of Laplacians. The authors apply some properties of this function to evaluate several series involving the zeta function. For a systematic presentation of the multiple gamma functions and their applications involving zeta-function series, see the work of the reviewer and the second-named author [Series associated with the zeta and related functions, Kluwer, Dordrecht (2001; Zbl 1014.33001)].NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0973.00042].
