The profinite completion of certain residually-finite p-groups
From MaRDI portal
It is proved that the profinite completions of the residually finite p- groups constructed by \textit{N. Gupta} and \textit{S. Sidki} [Math. Z. 182, 385-388 (1983; Zbl 0513.20024)] are not torsion groups.
