The study of truncated polynomials with restricted digits is considered in this interesting paper. More specifically, they introduced the truncated polynomials which are periodic modulo powers of primes, making the set of integers whose polynomial values have restricted digits more dense. They obtain to study truncated polynomials with restricted digits by using estimates for character sums and exponential sums modulo prime numbers. They also give exact identities in the special case where the polynomials are monomial.
