Twistors and gauge fields
From MaRDI portal
This paper reviews the basic ideas of twistor theory. It discusses the geometry of twistor space and how it relates to Minkowski space, the Penrose correspondence between solutions of zero rest mass field equations and holomorphic cohomology on twistor space, the Ward correspondence between solutions of the Yang-Mills equations and holomorphic bundles on twistor space and Penrose's method of constructing gravitational instantons.
