Review text

The dynamics of the extra-dimensional dependence of a warp factor and a bulk scalar in five-dimensional brane world scenarios with induced brane metric of constant curvature is investigated. The full phase portraits of the system is constructed for several bulk potentials. It is shown that for flat branes, the phase portrait is two-dimensional, while for curved branes it is three dimensional.
