Wavelet packets for time-frequency analysis of multispectral imagery

This paper proposes a new method to analyze multi- and hyperspectral image sets. Compared with the classical method, the authors use joint entropy and wavelet packet transforms (instead of wavelet transforms). Numerical experiments support their theory.
