Zappa products
In Analogie zur gruppentheoretischen Situation wird ein zweiseitiges semidirektes Produkt von Halbgruppen als Zappa-Produkt eingeführt. Mehrere wichtige Ergebnisse der ersten sechs Teile dieser Arbeit befassen sich mit Darstellungen, Kongruenzen und Zerlegungen von Zappa-Produkten und mit dem Zusammenhang mit der allgemeinen Erweiterungstheorie und mit speziellen halbgruppentheoretischen Konstruktionen. Die ursprüngliche Motivation für diese Definition wird schließlich im Teil 7 erklärt: Zappa-Produkte von Halbgruppen treten in kanonischer Weise als Strukturbeschreibungen von linearen Parallelrechnern, einer Variante von Turingmaschinen, auf [vgl. \textit{M. Kunze}, Applications of information and control systems, 2nd int. Conf. Inf. Sci. Syst. Vol. III, Patras/Greece 1979, 217-225 (1980; Zbl 0475.68051)]. In diesem Sinne erhalten manche der bekannten halbgruppentheoretischen Konstruktionen neue automatentheoretische Interpretationen.
