The authors consider isometries \(f\) of relative metrics \(d_D\) on proper subdomains \(D\) of \(\mathbb{R}^n\) and \(\overline{\mathbb{R}^n}\) for two classes of the metrics. It is shown that if \(D\subsetneq\mathbb{R}^n\) and \(d_D\) is close (in a sense) to the distance ratio metric \[ i_D(x,y)= \log\Biggl(1+ {|x-y|\over \min\{\text{dist}(x,\partial D),\text{dist}(y,\partial D)\}}\Biggr), \] then \(f\) is either a similarity or, in the case \(D= \mathbb{R}^n\setminus\{a\}\), a composition of a similarity and an inversion in a sphere centered at \(a\). If \(D\subset\overline{\mathbb{R}^n}\) has at least two boundary points and \(d_D\) is close to Seittenranta's metric \[ \delta_D(x,y)= \log\Biggl(1+ \sup_{a,b\in\partial D} {|x-y||a-b|\over|a- x||b-y|}\Biggr), \] then \(f\) is a Möbius mapping. Some bounds and results on geodesics for such metrics are obtained as well.
