It is now well known that Sobolev inequalities improve in the presence of symmetries. In particular the critical exponent increases when the orbits under the action of the group are of dimensions greater than or equal to one (see for instance [\textit{E. Hebey} and \textit{M. Vaugon}, J. Math. Pures Appl., IX. Sér. 76, No. 10, 859--881 (1997; Zbl 0886.58003)]). In this case it was an open question to compute the value of the sharp constant in such inequalities. The author answers the question in this very nice paper.
