Let \(F : M \to N\) be a minimal immersion from a \(2n\)-dimensional manifold \(M\) into a Kähler-Einstein manifold \(N\) of complex dimension \(2n\), \(n \geq 2\), and assume that \(F\) has equal Kähler angles. Denote by \(R\) the scalar curvature of \(N\). The authors first show that if \(n = 2\) and \(R \neq 0\), then \(F\) is either complex or Lagrangian. If \(n\geq 3\), they suppose that \(M\) is compact and orientable, and prove the following two results: (1) If \(R < 0\) then \(F\) is either complex or Lagrangian; (2) If \(R = 0\) then the Kähler angle is constant. The authors also study pluriminimal immersions with equal Kähler angles. They prove that, if they are not complex, \(N\) is Ricci-flat and there is a natural parallel homothetic isomorphism between the tangent bundle and the normal bundle of \(M\).
