A generalization of multifractal theory which involves the introduction of weights to the terms of generating partition for the measures is presented. A shift-invariant measure ergodic on the coding space is introduced, by using the weights. An additional statistical feature with respect to the local pure states from the spin-glass theory includes an independent set of weights. These weights can easily be normalized by a gauge transformation.
