The evaluation map of an augmented differential graded algebra \(A\) over a field \(K\), \(w_ A\), is a map \(\text{Ext}_ A(K,A)\to H^*(A)\) which assigns to a cycle \(f:P\to A\) (\(P\), resolution of \(K\)) the class \([f(1)]\). In this paper the author extends his rational work on the evaluation map [Trans. Am. Math. Soc., to appear] to a field of arbitrary characteristic \(\neq 2\). The main result states: Let \((\Lambda V,d)\) be a minimal commutative differential graded algebra with \(V\) finite-dimensional. Then \(ev_{\Lambda V}\neq 0\) if and only if \(H^*(\Lambda V,d)\) is finite-dimensional. The author defines also a ``Milnor-Moore'' spectral sequence which has the following form \(\text{Ext}_{(\Lambda V,d_ 2)} (k,(\Lambda V,d_ 2)) \Rightarrow \text{Ext}_{(\Lambda V,d)} (K,\Lambda V,d))\) with \(d_ 2\) the quadratic part of the differential \(d\).
