A special case of the system (1) of the preceding paper [ibid. 1483-1525 (1993; Zbl 0807.34054)], where \(n=2\), \(P= 4I_ 2\) and \[ f(y,z)=\begin{pmatrix} y+ \beta z & -y(y^ 2+ z^ 2)\\ -\beta y+ z & -z(y^ 2+ z^ 2)\end{pmatrix} \] is considered. The author studies the number of synchronized periodic solutions for each pair (\(\varepsilon>0\), \(\beta>0\)) for all \(\delta\). As a result, it is found out that when \(0< \varepsilon< {1\over 8}\), there can be more than one periodic solutions for certain values of \(\delta\). The stability problem is also under consideration.
