The author provides a new infinite family of \(t\)-designs with a constant value of \(\lambda\); only very few such families are known up to now. This new family has parameters \(t= 4\), \(v= 2^ f+ 1\), \(k= 9\) and \(\lambda= 84\); the designs all admit P\(\Gamma\text{L}(2, q)\) as their full automorphism group.
