This paper mainly extends the work of \textit{G. M. Weetman} [J. Lond. Math. Soc., II. Ser. 50, No. 1, 68-86 (1994; Zbl 0805.05081) and ibid., No. 2, 209-221 (1994; Zbl 0808.05093)]. It is shown that for many strongly regular graphs \(\Delta\), and for all Taylor graphs \(\Delta\) except the hexagon, locally \(\Delta\) graphs have bounded diameter. Several results have been proved prior to establish the main result. The paper concludes with an example.
