Summary: We give a new proof of the admissibility of singular perturbations, which was introduced by the author [Osaka J. Math. 26, No. 2, 387-398 (1989; Zbl 0705.35009)], without the assumption on the characteristic roots assumed in that paper, using the method introduced by the author in [Publ. Res. Inst. Math. Sci. 27, No. 4, 551-575 (1991; Zbl 0782.35004), Appendix].
